This is a simple vocabulary lesson in which you will learn about different bugs and insects. In addition to the names of the insects, you will also learn about some of their actions and physical traits. The vocabulary in this lesson includes caterpillars, ladybugs, bees, spiders, ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and fireflies. Watch this video to increase your vocabulary and learn how to pronounce these basic insect names in English.
Congrats! It’s not that easy to be the first one Carlos. How about the lesson, interesting enough?
Regards, great weekend!

Hi Alex, your class was very nice, but there is a technical problem because Spider is not a insect. rsrsrsr! I am an Entomologist.
CREBIO
Hi Crebio! Spiders are not insects, what are they then? Arachnids, aren’t they? Good observation!
However, as far as I can tell, people often use the term “insect” to refer to them; although this is not correct scientific language.
Well,we all make mistakes from time to time, don’t we?
By the way, what does an entomologist do?
Bye for now.
Regino
Hi, crebio! Why are you here, what do you want to show? if English is so easy for you, start learn Chinese or biology and let our teacher tranquil, some people need this guy like water, and he must be peaceful and in good shape every time. Good night and good-by for ever peace with you.
Arthur
Hi Alex, Spider belong the Arachnid Class and they differ from insects because they have eight legs while the insects have only six legs. This is the basic difference. Entomologist like me that work with insects can develop research in biology, ecology, taxonomy, biological control or chemical control.
CREBIO
So what are they?? If theyre not insects??
mukti
In common language all terrestrial arthropods are insects or just bugs.

Yes, they do! “Ladybug” is more common in North America, while “ladybird” is used in the UK and Australia.
