These are fixed expressions. On the left and on the right are used to show placement relative to something else.

Hi Adam thank you , this lesson is very helpfull on travel. I’m from Brasil and i’m watching your lessons to improve my english. I’d studied when i was a child until 17 then i stooped and never more have classes or search for it until now.
