How was my answer false in no 1?
Me too. It’s got to be an error in quiz.
Sorry, the quiz has now been fixed!
I wanna mention that there is an incorrect answer for question Number (1)
I appreciate this type of course in which you can both learn English and improve your knowledge or behavior.
Thank you Rebecca!
Thank you I am very happy because everyday I get new information.
Why is there “did” in: “What did you think about a meeting?” I expect to see “do” instead: “What do you think about a meeting?”
You know, with “did” I expect: “What did you YESTERDAY think about a meeting?”
With “do” I expect: “What do you TODAY” think about a meeting?”
Thanks,Rebecca !
How to use rather, rather than in a sentence?
Could yo please explain?
I am not a native English speaker… I’ve searched the web.
RATHER:
“Would you like some juice or would you rather stick to water?” It’s about your preference, your choice.
RATHER THAN:
“I prefer to go by train rather than fly to places.”
Rather than means “instead of”.
Tip: Try writing desired string in Search box: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/
