In this English vocabulary lesson, I will teach you words that are being used a lot right now, and that have to do with current issues in society and politics. You may have heard these words already, but what exactly do terms like millennial, trigger warning, and fake news mean? Whatever your politics, this lesson will give you a perspective on the social trends and political change that is going on in our age.
THANK YOU , it WAS USEFUL LESSON , I GOT 8 OUT OF 9 I MIXED UP BETWEEN Globalism & Populism

I’m also not good at American history and don’t know why, but I love the Watergate scandal. I have watched a few movies about it, Frost/Noxon is my favorite one. Great acting, even though I knew the ending the movie was gripping and tension-filled. Great lesson full of stuff that can be useful. Here in Poland terms like “gender non-binary” and “trigger warning” are still nonexistent but “populism” and “coworking” are everywhere. Eventually all things, ideas and new expressions will come here the only question is when. Thanks God I know the vocab now so I’m prepared :)

A difficult lesson for me that could be divided into two shorter parts in order to be more effective. I would definitely need to listen to it once again. Thanks Jade.
I believe Jade has mistook millenials for generation Z. In fact, I reckon she is a millenian (include people born in the early 80’s). Generation Z are born between the mid-1990s to mid-2000s.

I thought Generation Z was zombies…no, wait, that’s “World War Z”.

Hi Jade,I watched your lesson and I can say that I found it very useful , there are a lot of new words that I didn’t know. And they are all related to different fields, but one thing that was difficult for me your pronunciation and explanation, it was difficult to understand as I’m not native speaker, I would like you to be more clear and use less fillers , they disturbed my concentration. In general lesson is good and beneficial to enrich vocabulary. Thanks a lot!
