I’m basically focusing more on writing than speaking. So most of my questions will be about that.

1. In the last sentence I have written, do I need to put comma after so?

You need to put a comma before so, not a period. This is a coordinating conjunction.

2. If I write two questions which are separated by the conjunction or, do I need to invert the word order to question or do I have to use embedded question word order after or?

You wrote this question correctly. The important thing about coordinating conjunctions is to have parallel structures on either side of the conjunction: do I need to or do I need to…? Should I do A or can I get away with B?

3. In the last two questions, I have used question word order after the introductory clause and if clause. Is this right? Can I use question word order after comma?

Yes and yes :) The question is the independent clause.

4. Which noun form should be followed by any (singular or plural)? both are possible:
If there are any questions on the test you’re not sure about, ask for clarification.
If you are unsure about any word(s) in the text, look it/them up.

Technically, “I failed in History.” is correct, as you are talking about the subject. But many students say I failed history, meaning history class.

I failed the exam is correct.

If you can use ‘of’ then there must be an apostrophe (‘) if you omit the of.

The gerund is the activity. If you want to talk about the concept, use the regular noun if one is available.
The design and implementation of A takes years to master. (the idea of this)

He is responsible for the designing and implementing of A. (for doing this)

Articles cannot be omitted if they are required.
