    You may want to watch Alex’s lesson on “either” and “neither”!

    “Nor” is not used a lot in conversational English. You don’t see it a lot in written English either (see what I did there?). It’s like “or”, but used with negatives like “neither” and “not”. So

    – Rebecca has not done a lesson on “either”
    – Emma has not done a lesson on “either”

    becomes “Neither Rebecca nor Emma have done lessons on ‘either’.”

    In casual English, though, “neither Rebecca or Emma” is okay.

    this sentence is incorrect, you can’t say ”YOURS LESSONS and the other one is CLEARLY. both words are incorrect..the correct sentence should be (your lessons are so much interesting and clear.) so much pain sound natural than such much pain. I did struggle for a while then select the later , because pain is noun , unless so is used to modify ‘ much’
but , she is such a beautiful lady. We still focus to lady — a noun.
Is it due to ‘ much ‘ or ‘ many ‘

By the way , in reported speech , how about the change of tense in not simple sentence ?
e.g. Dona : ” I was staying in that hotel facing the ocean when the disaster happened.
Dona confided she had been staying in that hotel facing the ocean when the disaster happened . or hand happened ?

Hi can you help me in this
I read that we should not use so absolutely means to say we should use very in place of so when we have to use it absolutely
ex–
he is so intelligent
he is very intelligent which one is correct
I say the second one what do you say u use the first one every time in this lesson so should be followed by that clause thats what i read
ex
He is so intelligent that he can solve any type of sum

I the quiz there is a question is expressed as
Poor man! He’s in __________ much pain since he hurt his back.
Why is this question’s answer be “so”, not “such”?
Definitely, I know “Such a good boy” is right, and it equals “Such much pain” in grammar, isn’t it?

Hi Rebecca, first of all i want to thank you 4 your clear & perfect teaching, thank u. I have a problem about ‘so’. You say for the example: ” we have so much time before our flight” . Is it right? i think ‘time’ is noun. Don’t we use ‘so’ for adj./adverb? Could u explain, please? Already now, thanks. :)
