Have you thought about moving to England? In this interview, you’ll hear about the experience an Italian couple had when they moved to London almost six years ago. They talk about finding a place to live, finding jobs, and how they support each other. We talk about their reasons for choosing to leave their lives in Italy and come to London, as well as what they find difficult. You will also hear about their professional lives from their perspective as non-native speakers, as well as how they have been dealing with life during the 2020 health crisis.

Great lesson! Thank you Ms. Gill. It’s very interesting to listen to other learners from time to time to make conclusions about your own progress.
I’m from Northern Italy, too, and listening to my countrymates has been nice cause it’s always curious to hear our accent “mixed “with another language : they speak good English ( she’s better than him, in my opinion ..)even though the total fluency is still quite far..not easy.
